spelet fungerar fint för mej...till en början ialla fall...när jag väl kommer till vad jag tror är startmenyn...så är det helt svart men jag hör musik...är det någon mer som har fått liknande problem och isåfall hur åtgärdar man det? behöver ett svar!

fortfarande ingen lösning på problemet med min lilla "blackout" i menyn, men kollade lite i "debug" dokumentet, å fann lite info... file 'SHADERS.MTP' not found, Shader error 'attempt to call a nil value' from shader 'CircleShader' etc... fanns en hel del som verkade fela....någon som kan luska lite på det? jag får snart hjärnblödning av det här :/ riktigt sugen på fiskespel !

tja,

är det nån som fått samma problem som mig i det här spelet: intron fungerar perfekt men när menyn ska visa så flimmrar skärmen. spelet verkar inte kunna ställa om monitorn. det flimmrar på samma sätt som när man har fel uppdaterings intervall (hertz).

Vet någon hur man kan lösa detta. har gforce ti 4200/128mb (nya drivisar har jag)

fungerar det inte då så är denna uppladdning av kass kvalitet.

jag vet inte hur vissa får det att funka??? fattar inte varför detta problem dyker upp på min och massa andra vänner burkar.... Alla får samma flimmer eller bara svart. Introna fungerar men när menyn ska visas så flippar det ut. Samma fel får jag på Cabelas Dangerous Hunts som finns här på TPB.

Det där felet med flimmer hade jag med men när vi bytte grafikkort blev det bätttre.. Vet ej om det berodde på det men. Kanske drivers.

För att fixa problemet med den svarta skärmen efter spelets intro ska du göra på följande sätt...

Leta reda på filen som heter config
bör ligga i Magic Wand\Rapala\Rapala\Cfg

öppna filen med notepad eller liknande
du kommer att se en massa rader och på den 6e raden står det "addvar r_windowed int; r_windowed = 0"

du vill då ändra det till att stå "addvar r_windowed int; r_windowed = 1"

spara ändringarna och starta spelet..

detta kommer att lösa ditt problem

ehm.. the underwater graphic is really messed up...? the lure is diving like 30 ft after 1 second and gets stuck. Am I the only one with this problem?

@robthebeast when there is more than 1 rar files it means the archive has been broken up into little bits, to use what'sinsde the rar file all u have to do is open up the .rar (not any of the .r01 or .r02...) just like any other compressed torrent it will gather the peices from each rar file as long as they r in the same folder

I've come up with a way to fix the startup problem some of you have. The error where you can here the music or sound of the intros but the screen stays black and the game eventually hangs your computer.

1. Go to your game directory. For me it's:"E:\Program\Activision Value\Magic Wand\Rapala\"

2. Go into the folder "Rapala" and then the folder "Movies"

3. Delete the two game companys intro video files. "Atvi" and "Magic Wand".

4. Start the game from "Rapala.exe" in the "Bin" folder in the game directory. OBS!!!! Do not start the game from any other shortcuts like the one on your desktop because it will then reinstall those deleted files.

Now the game will work as it should. At least for me it did.
